A particle accelerator is just a toy for physicists, where nothing comes out, which would not have known.
Those are billions that have been placed in the sand in the world.
The "Higgs particle" an "illusion" of chasing you.
"Dark Matter", one needs to prove something, not what is provable.
"Dark energy" necessary to obtain the so-called "standard theory" upright, just an illusion.
But there are billions in the "research" put on the untenable "standard theory".
For this "standard theory" be "auxiliary theories" without necessary end.
Also, the quantum theory is not the last word.
It is never called the "world formula" to be found. This has been predicted Godel.
But on an illusion, more or less, it is now not really matter.
Just that you have so much money in these "illusions" of "losing" is inexplicable to me.
I would not spend a cent for it.

Who can not think, to compute.
Who can be expected not to think.
